Upcoming Events 

Dates for the 2019 Nourishing Networks workshops will be released by the end of November. These workshops will take place from February-May of 2019. 

The Nourishing Networks Workshops will bring together people from different backgrounds, expertise, and experience to discuss food access barriers and the effectiveness of food access strategies in your county. We will  learn together how to use shared tools such as maps and other information to deepen our understanding of the issue and to promote cooperative experiments and planning.  

Over the next few months we anticipate rich conversations and debates in communities across Southeast Ohio. As food access disparities continue to widen in Ohio and elsewhere it is imperative that those who know and understand local realities build coalitions to advocate for policies and actions that make sense. We are excited about the creative potential of coalition building and county-level group formation where we can collectively unlock the causes of food insecurity and address those realities here in southeast Ohio.
