Tree Pruning Workshop
Come learn about fruit tree care with Community Food Initiatives! This workshop will be led by Weston Lombard, owner of Solid Ground Farm.
Learn the basics of fruit tree pruning and training to increase the productivity and health of your trees. Topics covered include: reasons for pruning, shaping young trees, rehabing older trees, timing, tools and safety, types of cuts, and the response of trees to various cuts.
